When
11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Aug. 20, 2024
Join us for a special unveiling of murals created by the ArtWorks program for the new Social Hall at the College of Medicine – Tucson. These vibrant murals celebrate the tripartite mission of the College: education, research, and patient care. ArtWorks, housed in the Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disabilities, promotes community and mutual learning through creative and expressive arts interactions between adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and University of Arizona students. Together, they foster a safe space for expression, connection, and growth.
Gathering and light refreshments starts at 11:30 a.m. The program will begin at noon.
