Dan Combs, MD, (PI) and University of Arizona Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disabilities affiliated faculty Jamie Edgin, PhD, (Co-I) received an R21 grant from the National Institute of Health to study decision-making to participate in medical research studies for people with Down syndrome. These findings may inform procedures for consenting in research and medical settings. Sonoran Center staff Gabriel Martinez is a consultant on the project.
