Interdisciplinary Approach to Disability in Professional Practice Intern

Hi, my name is Yasmin Morales and I am majoring in Care, Health & Society with a minor in Spanish. Once completing my bachelors degree, I hope to become a Physical Therapist. I am passionate about advocating for my community, and helping everyone gain their independence in whatever capacity that may be. I am a part of the Frontera summer internship for 2024, which has given me the wonderful opportunity to work with UCEDD. I keep busy with involvement in various clubs and working off campus as well. Outside of my academics I like to cook and bake, trying new recipes surrounded by friends and family. I look forward to expanding my knowledge to better serve my community through this program.
