Shivani is currently a senior at the University of Arizona pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science, with an emphasis on Aging and Development. She is also pursuing minors in Biochemistry and Public Health as well as a Certificate in Developmental Disabilities. She is a Flinn Scholar and Galileo Circle Scholar currently on the pre-medical track, with the goal of becoming a pediatrician. She adores children and wants to work with them for the rest of her life! She is currently a research assistant at University of Arizona’s Down Syndrome Research Group lab under the direction of PI Dr. Jamie Edgin. She also has been a member of the March of Dimes (a non-profit organization with the mission of improving the health of babies) for the past seven years now, holding a board position for the Southern Arizona Division.
