I was born and raised in Arizona. I am of Taiwanese decent and Mandarin Chinese was my first language. I am a current undergraduate student studying veterinary science and special education rehabilitation. I have always loved children and animals and I hope to be able to combine my passion for working with both through animal-assisted therapy. My goal is to become a veterinarian and AAT.  I am currently working as a student worker at ArtWorks. I am also an undergraduate research assistant for the College of Education and the College of Natural Resources and Ecology. I volunteer as puppy raiser and trainer for Guide Dogs of the Desert and hope to study the impact of service animals on disabled individuals. I am currently working with a Labrador puppy named Jasper.
