Disability Policy Fellow
I am a senior majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science with an emphasis on Aging and Development. Policy has been something I have always been deeply interested in. At a young age, my family lost my 4-year-old brother due to lack of healthcare access which could have been prevented through policy. I became interested in disability while volunteering at a pediatric clinic. I saw what my clinic was doing to help kids with disability enjoy daily activities, such as building special bikes to bike around the park or host dance classes and swim classes for disabled children. I am so excited for everything I will learn in this fellowship and I hope to be impactful through my work. My future goals consist of getting an MD/MPP and have a voice in policy while being a pediatric physician, working closely with disabled populations.
