Intern

I am a second year Master of Public Health student with a concentration in Health Behavior Health Promotion. I completed my undergraduate degree in Public Health as an intern with the maternal and child health department at North Country HealthCare, working with the Health Start and Healthy Steps programs. This originally spurred my interest in developmental disabilities and increasing access to health care services. I began my master's degree program with this focus in mind and that encouraged me to enroll in the disabilities and public health course. After taking this course, I was able to begin my internship with the Sonoran UCEDD to assist with the Home and Community Based Services Person-Centered Planning Project. I am passionate about person-centered thinking and community inclusion for individuals with disabilities.
