I grew up in the coal mining communities of Northern Wyoming. I am currently a senior pursuing dual degrees in Physiology and Rehabilitation. I was first introduced to disability studies through and ASL class I took on a whim. But it has become a very big part of my life. It has affected my choice of afterschool work at UCPSA and picking Inpatient Rehab for my volunteer station. After graduating I plan on pursuing a career as a physician. Eventually I would like to return to Wyoming to work as a physician. There is a need for more rural healthcare and I would like to help with that.
