PhD Candidate

Breanna Sherrow is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Special Education from the University of Arizona with a focus in Learning Disabilities. Her Ph.D. minor is Positive Behavior Supports and Functional Behavioral Assessments. Breanna received her bachelor’s degree in Family Consumer Sciences Education and her master’s degree in Educational Psychology, both from the University of Arizona. Her research interests are varied and include: testing anxiety for students with learning disabilities, interventions for students with a learning disability, peer tutoring to increase reading fluency, how students with specific learning disabilities perceive themselves, and support for students with specific learning disabilities (such as parental). After Breanna completes her Ph.D. she aspires to be a university professor who teaches pre-service special education teachers.
