I am currently a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in Rehabilitation Services and Studies minoring in Psychology. Working with people with disabilities has always been a passion of mine, which is why I plan to become an occupational therapist. As for experience, I worked at the Center for Academic Success for five years working with children who have a learning disability. I also worked at the Abbie School in Tucson tutoring and mentoring students with autism. I am very excited to start this Certification of Developmental Disabilities to help me as a future occupational therapist. The research, policy, and education I will receive will benefit me in the future.
