I am currently a junior at the University of Arizona. I am seeking a bachelor degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences. My career goal is to become a speech pathologist and work with children. I developed an interest in developmental disabilities through my mom who used to be a speech pathologist. She worked with a lot of children on the autism spectrum. Her stories and teachings prompted me to want to learn more about developmental disabilities. In addition, I am a part of a lab where I will be working on a language treatment study for late-talking toddlers. I am passionate about working with and learning about people with developmental disabilities, especially children.
