Hi, my name is Yuritza I use she/her pronouns. This is my first year at the University, I am currently majoring in medicine and minoring in Spanish. I plan to one day attend medical school and become a surgeon. As a daughter of immigrant parents, I was always taught to dream big and help others. Being a part of the Sonoran UCEED means a lot to me because of my family members who have disabilities that affect their day-to-day lives. Being able to understand and help others is something I strive to do. This experience will also help me create a deeper connection and understanding with my patients in the medical field.
