Disability Policy Fellowship

I am a senior majoring in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a minor in Biochemistry. I have been a Direct Support Professional for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities for over three years. I am passionate about equity in healthcare, especially for individuals with disabilities. I look forward to learning about disability policy and utilizing that knowledge to advocate for improvements to local and national policy. I have recently joined the Kenry Lab at the UofA and enjoy participating in research that aims to improve breast cancer research, diagnosis, and treatment through the use of machine learning. I have not yet decided on a career path, but I would ultimately like to incorporate my passions for healthcare, science, and research into a fulfilling career.
