My interest in working with children who have neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families began over a decade ago as a teacher and a school counselor.  This semester I am assisting the "Creating a Picture of a Life for Transitioning Youth with DD in Foster Care" project which focuses on utilizing person-centered planning and self-advocacy workshops to prepare youth before exiting the foster care system and life after high school.
