Primary Care Clinic for Youth and Adults with Developmental Disabilities
About
The University of Arizona Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disabilities Primary Care Clinic for Youth and Adults with Developmental Disabilities provides a set of services designed to offer accessible, continuous, family-centered, coordinated, compassionate and culturally sensitive health care services to patients with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The family medicine team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, and social workers.
Under the leadership of director Tammie Bassford, MD, the clinic provides coordinated primary health care to patients and works with patients and families to establish links to medical and non-medical community resources such as educational and vocational services, out of home care, family support and specialty care.
