Guest Speaker: Jennie Mullins, MPH, Public Health Consultant
Ms. Jennie Mullins, MPH, will share examples of the local public health system response in Pima County, Tucson, Arizona to address the needs of people with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. She will provide examples of multi-pronged ethical and equity focused strategies to center disability through policies, practices, programs, grant making, workforce development, community engagement, and collaboration with Tribal, disability advocacy and service organizations.
Discussion will include how building on such strategies is vital to post-pandemic recovery and resilience building in historically underserved communities.
