Mental Health and Developmental Disability Technical Assistance Center

Improving supports for people who have co-occurring mental health conditions and intellectual/developmental disabilities.

The Administration for Community Living has launched The Link Center, led by the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services to improve supports for people who have mental health conditions as well as intellectual/developmental disabilities. Guided by self-advocates, this center will provide information, training, resources, and peer-to-peer learning for people with I/DD who have mental health conditions, their families, and the professionals who work with them. This center will also support state agencies with policy development, service design, and service coordination resources.

The Sonoran Center will share its resources to assist with developing products, connecting with diverse and rural communities, and sharing information through a variety of accessible formats and platforms.

The new website launched in spring 2024 will serve as a national hub of the most relevant and timely resources to support states, communities, and stakeholders in improving the lives of children and adults with these disabilities.
