I am currently a Junior at the University of Arizona with a major in Triple L: Literacy, Learning and Leadership and a minor in Special Education. I plan to get my masters in Special Education after graduating next spring. I am from Pearl River, New York and enjoy spending time with friends, playing tennis, hiking, reading, and traveling. I have been working with the special needs children from a very young age with a program called “Buddy Ball Sports” which is a nonprofit organization that provides the opportunity for children with developmental disabilities to engage in sports. Buddy Ball Sports is where I discovered my passion for becoming a special education teacher. I look forward to one day becoming a special education teacher and providing all students with equal opportunities.
