Interdisciplinary Approach to Disability in Professional Practice Intern

Sandra Siegel is presently an ASU graduate student of social work as well as a mother to an individual who is experiencing autism. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 1984 with a bachelor's in journalism, she worked as a reporter and an English teacher in Mexico City for almost five years. Subsequently, she returned to Phoenix, worked as a translator and customer service agent at America West Airlines. She eventually graduated from ASU with a master's in secondary education. She taught high school Spanish and is now looking forward to learning new skills at UCEDD.
