Cody was born in Oxford, Connecticut, but has lived in Chandler, Arizona for over 25 years. Cody is currently a Masters student at the University of Arizona where he is working on a Program Design and Evaluation (MA). Cody is also a person with disability was a strong advocate for himself and his community. His experiences navigating through Arizona's Medicaid and Vocational Rehabilitation systems as taught Cody the need for critical thinking and advocacy. Given Cody's experiences he is a vital asset to the continued fight for disability rights. Cody is a recent graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies with a focus in economy and industry. Cody has also recently graduated from the Leading for Change candidate training and eight month-long leadership fellowship. Cody is committed to the advancement of disability rights within his community. Cody looks forward to furthering his knowledge and support of disability rights during his time as a Disability Policy Fellow at the Sonoran UCEDD.
