Join us for a webinar exploring Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) and the impact of prolonged trauma on emotional regulation, self-perception, and relationships. Presented by Memory Dawn Long Chase, BA (she/her), Hunkpapa Lakota (Standing Rock Sioux Tribe), and Domestic Violence Response Director at the Southwest Indian Women’s Council (SWIWC), this session will highlight how trauma affects the brain and body while sharing practical, trauma-informed self-care strategies to support healing, resilience, and a greater sense of safety.

Learning Objectives:
1. Differentiate C-PTSD from single-incident PTSD by examining the impact of prolonged, repeated trauma on the nervous system and core beliefs.
2. Understand Relational Wounding: Analyze how Complex PTSD distorts emotions, self-perception and relationships.
3. Develop a Wellness Toolkit: an individualized self-care routine incorporating mindfulness, journaling, movement, emotional boundary setting and self-compassion.
