Technology First
About
Finding creative ways, especially through technology, to assist an individual in learning a new job and maintaining that job is a priority at the University of Arizona Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disabilities, which is why we implement a Tech First approach.
Tech First is the practice of considering the use of technology as a "first option" and essential component of employment support delivery. Technology can be a creative solution to supporting an individual in achieving their employment goal; this could include streamlined options such as smartphone/tablet applications, using Zoom, or more advanced types of Assistive Technology.
