Join disability advocates Kaleb Brown and Clifford Ah-In-Nist Sipes for an engaging and interactive workshop exploring what it means to live, communicate, and advocate as person who stutters. Drawing from their unique backgrounds and lived experiences, Kaleb and Clifford will discuss how culture, identity, disability, and community shape the stuttering experience. Participants will hear their perspectives on navigating the workplace, school, relationships, and everyday life while gaining practical strategies for self-advocacy, building confidence, and embracing their authentic voices.
Workshop Learning Outcomes:
- Know what stuttering is and isn’t.
- Recognize how culture, identity, and lived experiences can influence the experience of stuttering.
- Identify both the shared experiences and unique differences among people who stutter from diverse backgrounds.
